National Summit on Artificial Intelligence - 2024

The ‘National Summit on Artificial Intelligence’ was held on June 15, 2024, at Hotel Himalaya in Kupondole, Lalitpur. The one-day summit was attended by more than 200 participants from across the country, including sectoral experts, technical experts, policymakers, representatives of political parties, public and private service providers, researchers, and the general public. The conference included panel discussions and remarks by special speakers. In addition to the opening and closing sessions, three main sessions were conducted:

  • The Future of Media: AI Innovations in Global and Local Contexts
  • AI Integration in Nepal’s Public Service: Potential and Pitfalls
  • Governing AI and Emerging Techs: Nepal’s Position and Pathways
